FAITH FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER NEWSLETTER - April 2008

Well, God is so good! I can't help but be amazed when I look at all the things God is doing in our midst today. I have
never seen a time when my heart was so full of joy, peace, and complete confidence! Just when I think things are
good, God steps in to make it better.

We are at a place in this church that Gods Glory seems to be building, accelerating by the minute. I have so much
excitement in my heart as I write this letter about the things God is doing NOW. So many things are coming into clear
view every day, piece by piece, completing Gods plan. Some of the projects we are working on now can hopefully be
revealed in next month's newsletter.

I want to welcome our new members to the church; we love adding to the family! God has blessed us this past month
with new members from five different families. Praise the Lord! God is 'Joining us together' with whom he desires to
be a part of this church.

THIS MONTHS TEACHING

I was cleaning up files and uploading my past messages to the website when I came across this sermon from
June 17 of 2007,
'Be Determined To Receive What God Has For You.'  I must admit that I was probably
preaching to myself as much as anyone else, but I believe it is good teaching for today. That message will soon be on
the website in the
'Church Library' Section of our website. I took the following from that message:

(From 6-17-2007 message, 'Be Determined To Receive What God Has For You.')
We must make a determined effort in establishing the kingdom of God in our midst. We have experienced defeats,
setbacks, discouragements and other hindrances, but we must be like the apostle Paul who said, "none of these
things move me."

(Acts 20:24 NKJV)
But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my
race with joy, and the ministry, which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to  the gospel of the grace of God.

A wise man once told me, "Never give up, as long as you know you are right."

GOD HAS A PLAN!

God has a plan for each and every life in this place. It is by His design that you are on this earth. You can't force God's
plan to be accomplished by your own means.

Abraham thought Gods plan was taking too long, so he came up with an alternate plan to help God out. It failed.

Galatians 4:22-23 NLT
(22)  The Scriptures say that Abraham had two sons, one from his slave wife and one from his freeborn wife.
(23)  The son of the slave wife was born in a human attempt to bring about the fulfillment of God's promise. But the
son of the freeborn wife was born as God's own fulfillment of His promise.

We can't bring about Gods plan for this church through our own means. We can't come to the place where we 'give up'
on seeking Gods way and try to force Gods promise into our own program. Gods plan require that we walk by faith,
even when it looks rocky. Even when it doesn't make any sense to some, we walk on.

Not everyone will 'get it,' not everyone will understand it, it's not for some to even know 'the plan,' we simply walk on,
determined.

God has a plan for you, a plan for this church, and He has control of all we need to see His plan succeed. God doesn't
plan for failure, He doesn't cower, duck and run for cover when obstacles present themselves. He is God, He has
everything in His Hand.

WHAT CAN GOD GIVE TO YOU?

(Jeremiah 27:5 NLT)  With My great strength and powerful arm I made the earth and all its people and every
animal. I can give these things of Mine to anyone I choose.

Looking back now, it is so clear that the Hand of God has continually been at work. God has a plan for this church. I
don't profess to know all the details of that plan; I understand that I don't need to know. All I need to do is take the
steps as God orders them. It is too tempting sometimes to look at those steps individually and not make any sense
out of them. We must stay focused on the only thing that is our requirement to do; to be obedient and determined to
follow God.

In the end, piece by piece, it all works together to reveal Gods total will. This is what we have done; wait, trust, and
obey, and now Gods plan is truly being fulfilled! What a great thing God had done, and will continue to do! As I said to
you at the beginning of the year, you need to keep your eyes opened wide so you will not miss ANY of what God is
doing in this place!
